Top 5 Largest Superyachts At The 2024

Monaco is one of the most luxurious places in the world. Rich and famous people visit this tiny country on the French Riviera for its sunny weather, fancy hotels and casinos, amazing shopping, and financial benefits. They enjoy driving their fast cars on its famous roads and watching the exciting Monaco Grand Prix.

When it comes to ultimate luxury, nothing beats owning a superyacht. For those lucky enough to shop for one, the best place to find the biggest, most advanced yachts—along with tenders, limousines, private submarines, and luxury cars—is the Monaco Yacht Show, which kicks off next week.

During the show, Monaco’s famous port is packed with many yachts over 250 feet long. This year, the biggest superyacht is an incredible 400 feet! There will also be plenty of yachts around 300 feet in length.

If you’re lucky enough to be in Monaco later this month, I’ll see you there. If not, here’s a preview of the five largest yachts on display.

‘Kismet’

The 400-foot-long superyacht Kismet (built by Lürssen, with exterior design by Nuvolari Lenard and interior by Reymond Langton Design, and available for charter through Cecil Wright) is truly massive. To give you an idea of its size, it’s 40 feet longer than an American football field, including the end zones! In fact, Kismet would barely fit inside the Jacksonville Jaguars’ EverBank Stadium—if it could somehow be lowered in by a crane!

Photos and descriptions just don’t do justice to how massive Shad Khan’s new 400-foot superyacht really is. The only way to truly grasp its size is to see it in person at the Monaco Yacht Show next week. As the largest yacht at the event, it has set a new standard for design, construction, ownership, and chartering in the world of superyachts.

Kismet has already completed her first season in the Mediterranean and is available for charter through Cecil Wright. Unlike many yachts of this size that are reserved for private owners, Kismet offers you the chance to experience the superyacht lifestyle aboard one of the largest and most luxurious vessels in the world.

If you’re in the market for a charter yacht that costs around $3 million per week, the Monaco Yacht Show is the perfect place to see just how luxurious Kismet—and other incredible superyachts—truly are.

‘Renaissance’

The 367-foot, 7,200-gross-ton Renaissance, designed by Bannenberg & Rowell, is undeniably a “really big superyacht.” What makes it especially impressive is that, unlike most superyachts limited to 12 guests per charter, Renaissance is designed to pamper up to 36 guests in ultimate luxury.

Renaissance Yacht

As you’d expect, this yacht has everything. It features open-air dining on five decks, a dining room with soaring 18-foot ceilings on the main deck, a sushi bar, and a pizza oven next to the large pool. For party time, there are DJ stations, of course. There’s even a massive cinema on the lower deck with seating for 19 guests—perfect for a relaxed Netflix-and-chill evening.

Oh, and let’s not forget the spa—it includes hot and cold plunge pools, a steam room, a sauna, two treatment rooms, and a full beauty salon. For more details, contact Burgess.

‘H3’

I’ve seen many superyacht designs come to life because of the hard work, dedication, and passion from the large community of superyacht designers, builders, artists, and many others who contribute to each incredible new yacht that gets launched.

H3 Yacht

I have to admit, after seeing the 344-foot-long H3, built and rebuilt by Oceanco (first launched in 2000), emerge from an intensive 3-year rebuild, I’m truly speechless. I’m in awe, actually. Having spent time at Oceanco with the project team and the owner’s representative, I now understand why this project is much more than just a refit. It’s been completely transformed into a brand-new yacht with every modern comfort, yet it still keeps its original soul.

H3 Yacht

The sustainability impact of this project is truly impressive. According to Oceanco’s team of engineers, using an existing hull instead of building a new one cut carbon emissions for the build by 50%. Additionally, H3 has been repowered with smaller, more efficient engines, and although her top speed has been slightly reduced, she now burns much less fuel. The delivery time was also shortened by 25%. Hopefully, more projects will take this approach in the future.

Oceanco’s CEO, Marcel Onkenhout, says, “To say that this has been a remarkable process is an understatement. The project required passion, dedication, and exceptional craftsmanship, with many of those involved in her creation now contributing to her recreation, including myself.” For more information, contact Edmiston.

‘Bold’

The 278-foot-long BOLD is the largest and most powerful superyacht ever built by the Australian-based Silveryachts. In collaboration with yacht designer Espen Øino, BOLD introduces a whole new style to the explorer yacht category.

The 255-foot-long ENERGY is a full-custom yacht by Amels, designed by exterior designer Espen Øino and interior designer Francois Zuretti to offer unmatched luxury and water access.

The top deck features a versatile space with a helipad, perfect for sunbathing, al fresco yoga with panoramic ocean views, and elevated entertainment with a statement bar. There are also lounging areas and a dayhead inside. At the aft, the jacuzzi and sun pads offer the perfect spot to relax in the sun.

The bridge deck music lounge is designed for superior acoustics, featuring a Steinway baby grand piano and a marble-topped bar. Entertainment continues in the open-air lounge at the aft, while guests can enjoy some privacy on the sofa forward of the bridge or stroll along the sidedecks for stunning views of the anchorage.

The owner’s deck bedroom includes full-height windows leading to a private foredeck terrace, complete with a hot tub and a beautiful marble fire pit. For more information, contact Burgess.
