The Trinamool Congress has warned the Central federal government versus the Agnipath plan, pointing to the reality that Japan’s former Head of state Shinzo Abe was executed by a short-service ex-serviceman.
The party declared that the killing underlined the possible risks of the debatable support employment program.
The state BJP, nonetheless, denied the apprehension saying no Indian ex-servicemen had ever been involved in any kind of such event.
“The fatality of Abe at the hands of an ex-serviceman has only verified the anxieties of the people over the Agnipath scheme,” the TMC’s mouth piece ‘Jago Bangla’ (Get Up, Bengal) said in a short article on Saturday.
The aggressor lost his job in the Japanese Maritime Self-Defence Pressure after three years of service and he was not getting any kind of pension, it claimed.
Agniveers also would not obtain any type of pension after their four-year solution period is over, the article pointed out.
“The BJP is playing with fire for Agnipath scheme … We have seen what has actually occurred in Japan. An ex-serviceman eliminated the former Prime Minister,” TMC speaker Kunal Ghosh stated on Sunday.
The BJP stated that such apprehensions are ungrounded.
