Some reports recognized the guy who shot former Japan PM Shinzo Abe as Tetsuya Yamagami, 41, thought to be a previous member of the Japanese Maritime Protection Pressure.
Japanese former Head of state Shinzo Abe passed away after being fired today while campaigning in the city of Nara. The presumed shooter was detained minutes later on. Explosives have been located at his house, claim officials.
Here are five points on the shooter:
Reports determined the shooter as Tetsuya Yamagami, a regional guy.
Tetsuya Yamagami, 41, is thought to be a former member of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force.
He was thought to be backing up Shinzo Abe, 10 feet away, when he fired at him.
Shinzo Abe broke down on stage in the middle of his speech. Yamagami was tackled to the ground by protection.
The male did not attempt to run away, as per Japan’s public broadcaster NHK.
He is currently being wondered about at Nara Nishi police station.
He informed police that he “targeted Abe with the objective of killing him”, claim reports.
He was said to be “dissatisfied” with Shinzo Abe.
Records claim he used a shotgun. He has actually been billed with attempted murder.
The thought shooter is thought to have actually made the gun himself.
