Germany has implicated Russian state-controlled gas giant Gazprom of attempting to rise energy rates by dramatically decreasing materials.
Gazprom stated it was restricting the quantity of gas to Germany to under 70m cubic metres daily – well under half the current rate.
The reason it offered was to service tools in the Nord Stream pipe.
