After giving away free Chromebooks, Samsung is now offering another free gift for people who buy the Galaxy S24.
Customers who buy the Galaxy S24 or S24 FE will get a free Galaxy Fit 3 and Galaxy Buds FE. Together, these devices are worth £158 ($203). Samsung has also reduced last year’s flagship phone price by £100 ($129). This offer is only available in the U.K. and ends on April 15th.
You can get this deal from many stores like Argos, Asda, and Curry’s. The free devices don’t come with the phone at the time of purchase. Instead, buyers need to fill out a claim form with Samsung, and they will receive the watch and earbuds about a month later.
Samsung has a special website for giveaways that explains how to claim your free items. Basically, you need to provide proof of purchase, your device’s IMEI number, and some personal details. You must submit this within 30 days of buying the phone. If everything is correct, Samsung says you will receive your gift within 45 days.
More Samsung Galaxy S24 Deals Coming
This isn’t the first time Samsung has given free products or services to U.K. customers. In the past, they’ve offered a free Chromebook, Galaxy Tab, Galaxy Watch FE, and a 12-month Disney Plus subscription to Galaxy S24 buyers. Samsung also regularly offers discounts on devices.
In the U.S., Samsung rarely gives away free accessories with phones. However, they do offer big discounts and high trade-in values. For example, a recent Galaxy Z Flip 6 deal included $120 off the phone and up to $700 for a trade-in.
Giving multiple free items with the Galaxy S24 is quite generous, even for Samsung. This could be a way to encourage people to buy an older model while also getting them into Samsung’s ecosystem. The Galaxy Fit 3 and Galaxy Buds FE are Samsung’s cheapest wearables, often included in promotions.
Still, I don’t think it’s worth buying the Galaxy S24 just for these freebies since they are not very expensive on their own. But with the £100 discount, it’s a decent deal. However, the price of the Galaxy S24 will keep dropping over time. Better discounts will come in the next few months, either from Samsung or retailers clearing out stock. Keep an eye on Amazon, as it has been offering lower prices than Samsung in recent months.
